How often YOU listen Rammstein at days?

yes,that's right,but if people hear Rammstein often,it's because they like do it,and not to prove something,actually it doesn't make any sense,nobody MUST to listen Rammstein every day to be fan.

Of course. The sad thing is I come across people a lot of the time who see things as a constant competition. They seem to think the more they listen to something, the more they've seen a band or the more merchandise they have, the bigger fan they are. Sure, it means you have more money than sense and I probably want some of that merchandise or would like to see them that much too. But it doesn't make them any more of a fan than the next person. I'm sure many of you will agree. At least I hope so :S Otherwise there are some very worrying types here.
Plus who cares how big a fan you are? Chances are the band won't care at all.

Good point. That's one thing about this forum: it generally sifts through the fans and keeps the nicer ones. There are certain forums [a particular Canadian one that seems to be mainly for women] as well as one of the biggest [the one where everyone comes back ocomplaining how cruel that site is to people] where the competitive fans seem rife.

Yeah the whole competitve fan thing is really annoying. It's all about how many things you have with the R+ logo on them, about how many posters you can fit on your wall, how well you know the lyrics etc. To be honest I actually don't have any Rammstein merchandise, I just have the CDs and DVDs. Oh and a t-shirt that my mum got me lol.
I think sometimes that the music is forgotten and competition takes over. Everyone feels they have to show just how much they love the band.
Yeah all my friends know they're my favourite band but I don't go around proclaiming that I'm their #1 fan. I got into Rammstein for their music, I love them for their music, and I don't need to let everyone know if I know in myself that I love them :]. Aye that sounded a wee bit obsessive their but honestly I'm not lmao.

Sometimes people just get carried away with their fandom I guess. I've noticed that with myself for various things, but I try to stop myself.

I listen to Rammstein music (almost) whenever I'm walking with MP3 player and when I'm on the computer, but I listen to the other bands I like just as much.

i listen to Rammstein .... between 8 to 9 am when I go to work and between 6 and 7 p.m. when I return from work ... and then at home, when working on my projects. I am just going through a "Rammstein moment" now. Although I listen to other bands/artists, sometimes I feel the need to listen just to R+. Shhh

yeah....pretty the same happens to me too. while going to work on bike...i also have rammstein-must-songs on my player: as mein teil, stripped, du hast. they do motivate me....setting & adjusting the proper bike speed

For some reason I find Wollt Ihr das Bett in Flammen sehen? often cheers me up, when I'm down, which might be why it's often played on my MP3 player (and also because it's just generally a kick-ass song). But I actually think I have pretty much every Rammstein song on my MP3 player, except Stirb nicht vor mir. I even have the English Versions of Engel and Amerika. But not the English version of Du Hast, I hasst that.

couldn't agree more!!!!!!!
i don't really only listen to rammstein, i like a wide variety in my music, and i don't think it makes me any less of a fan
btw the english lyrics of du hast really pisses me off! and the worst thing is my 'friend' thinks they're the translation of the german ones! it's really frustrating! Brick wall
