Oh of course I have respect for the originals, and believe they deserve more respect then the covers. It's just I personally prefer Rammstein's covers of those songs.
It's the same deal with a few of my other favourite bands. Drowning Pool's cover of Rebel Yell, Clawfinger's cover of Vienna, Goldfinger's cover of 99 Red Ballons. Although Korn's cover of Creep I'm probably on par with for the original.
If you like any of those bands/songs I mentioned and haven't heard the cover versions then I'd suggest looking them up. |
It's okay that you prefer Rammstein's covers of those songs.. But personally I'm not really into Rammstein's cover-songs.. Well, except for one ;)
I actually think I've heard Goldfinger's cover of 99 Red Ballons.. Quite awesome cover in my opinion :D

LOL, to read a part of the lyric still don't make me like this song.. But it's good for Rammstein that at least some of their fans appreciate it.. ;D

I downloaded original "Das Model" and listened it. For some reason it started to annoy me badly, like this:  . I dunno why, it just did.
Then I listened R+ version and it was MUCH MORE better.

I know how you feel. The dude's singing voice is just so annoying and I can't stand synth pop

Well of course, because Till's voice is awesome!!! And every song Till singing sounds better for me! But it is only me...

I'm pretty sure it is just him smashing his head on the wall. I don't see the arm anywhere. I see motion blur lines, but that's show the movement of the head (or rather body), I believe.
